A woman remains in hospital with serious injuries following a crash in Dolgellau.

Shortly before 2am on Saturday, 13 April, officers from North Wales Police responded to a report of a one vehicle collision on the A494 in Rhydymain involving a black Ford Focus.

The driver was taken to Ysbyty Maelor in Wrexham but she has since been transferred to hospital in Stoke.

Officers are urging anybody who may have been travelling along the A494 during the early hours of Saturday and who may have dash cam footage, to contact officers at the Roads Crime Unit via the website or by calling 101, quoting reference number 24000336644.

The road re-opened shortly before 11am on Sunday, 14 April.
