On Saturday, 8 July, 10 members of Barmouth Bowling Club had a good afternoon of bowling competing for the Cyril Hudson Cup.

After the preliminary rounds the semi-finalists were Christine Palmer, Mari O’Rourke, Colin Hopkins and new member Richard Gears.

Playing in the final were Christine and Colin. Great shots were played by both but Colin prevailed.

He was presented with the trophy by Pam Payton, club chair.
