In 1894 the doors of Porthmadog Intermediate School were opened for the first time, a key event in the town’s history.

Today we all know the school as Ysgol Eifionydd and this year we celebrate 125 years since it was founded.

We hope to plan a number of joint activities with the community to celebrate this milestone, one of which is a grand concert at Y Ganolfan, Porthmadog, in March 2020. The concert will be in the company of current and well-known former pupils.

The school is at the heart of the town and it would be good to see the community of Porthmadog uniting to celebrate this event.

In order to fund the activities we are kindly asking for financial support towards the costs and will express our thanks to everyone in the programme.
