DRIVERS are being asked to be patient following a collision on the A44 between Aberystwyth and Bwlch Nant yr Arian.

Police say a collision earlier on Thursday morning has led to delays on the main road east of Aberystwyth.

In a post to social media, Dyfed-Powys Police says: "A44 - Aberystwyth to Bwlch Nant yr Arian.

"There are currently delays due to a collision.

"Please be patient and take an alternative route if possible or plan extra time into your journey."
