THE A487 between Blaenplwyf and Llanrhystud is closed this afternoon as police deal with an incident.

Dyfed Powys Police say officers are on the scene of an ’incident’ on the A487 and are asking motorists to avoid the area.

In a post on social media, Dyfed Powys Police say: "We are currently at the scene of an incident on the A487.

"The road is currently closed between Blaenplwyf and Llanrhystud.

"Please avoid the area whilst we deal with this."
