Jason saw USAF F-15E and USAF F-35 fighter jets from RAF from Lakenheath. //A photographer's first visit to the famous Mach Loop has resulted in jaw-dropping pictures. Jason Roach was on holiday when he took his photography gear to the network of Welsh valleys used by warplanes for high-speed, low-level flight training. His pictures from Saturday (19/8) include RAF Typhoons and US Air Force jets zooming past his hill-top position. Jason, from Stanley, County Durham, said: "This was my first time at the Mach Loop whilst on holiday in the area. I got lucky on that day with, I think, fifteen aircraft passes in total."
