A Llangoedmor woman who drove at nearly twice the speed limit through a north Pembrokeshire village has been fined.

Llanelli magistrates heard on 5 March that Elaine Griffiths, of Llain Elerch, was recorded driving an Audi A4 at 54mph on the A478 through Crymych on 8 August last year.

Magistrates fined the 65-year-old £239 and endorsed her licence with six penalty points.

She must also pay prosecution costs of £90 and a victim services surcharge of £95.
