A Beulah man who a court heard sent a woman “unwanted and repeated messages and voicemails” will be sentenced next month after admitting a charge of harassment.

Aled Nicholas, of Bronest, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 23 September.

The 49-year-old pleaded guilty to a charge of harassment without violence by sending “unwanted and repeated messages and voicemails” to a woman in Rhydlewis over a three month period between 1 March and 9 June this year.

Magistrates adjourned the case for an all-options pre-sentence report to be prepared by probation.

Nicholas is due to be sentenced for the offence at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 14 October.

He was remanded on conditional bail by magistrates until that sentencing date.
