A Cwmann man has been fined after being caught driving at almost twice the speed limit through Llanon.

Llanelli magistrates heard on 16 February that Dominic Connor Dalton, of Brynhyfryd, was clocked by laser travelling at 56mph in the 30mph limit on the A487 through Llanon at 11.36pm on 22 July last year.

The 27-year-old was fined £392 and was handed six penalty points.

He must also pay £90 costs and a £156 surcharge.
