A Dolgellau woman who breached a restraining order three times, including twice in the space of two days, has been handed a suspended jail sentence.
Julia Blake, of 12 Dol Aran, appeared for sentencing before Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on 6 October.
The 57-year-old had initially pleaded not guilty to three charges of breaching a restraining order but changed her pleas to guilty at an earlier hearing.
Blake admitted breaching the order by contacting the victim in Trawsfynydd on 27 and 28 September last year, and again on 21 January this year.
Magistrates handed Blake a total of 30 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months.
Magistrates the offences are “so serious that only a custodial sentence can be justified” because Blake “has a flagrant disregard for court orders”.
Blake was made the subject of a fresh two year restraining order and must also pay £450 costs.
