A Machynlleth man who was found in possession of hundreds of indecent images of children will be sentenced at Crown Court.

Jonathan Bruford, of Capel y Graig, Graig Fach, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 20 March.

The 58-year-old pleaded guilty to possessing a total of 549 indecent images of childrens, including 257 of the most serious category A, in Derby on 12 July 2022.

Bruford is due to be sentenced at Swansea Crown Court on 10 April.
