The case against a man accused of assaulting a police officer at Aberystwyth police station has been dismissed following a trial.

Daniel Harris, of no fixed abode, appeared for trial at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 15 February.

The 35-year-old had pleaded not guilty at an earlier hearing to the assault by beating of Pc Williams at the Aberystwyth police station on Boulevard St Brieuc on 25 May last year.

Harris was found not guilty of the charge at the hearing.
