Gwynedd police say that a 30-year-old man who spat at police officers has been jailed.

Dylan Parry Jones, of no fixed abode, appeared at Llandudno Magistrates Court on 7 September where he admitted to assaulting a police constable, resisting a constable in the execution of their duty and two counts of criminal damage.

On 5 October, Jones spat at police officers and deliberately urinated inside a police vehicle.

He then caused damage to a cell in police custody.

This activated a suspended sentence that was imposed for his previous offending.

He was jailed for a total of 26 weeks.
