A Rhydlewis man has been found guilty of assault following a trial.
Ronald Whitehead, of Penlanlas Uchaf, appeared for trial before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 25 July.
At a hearing in Marc, the 66-year-old had denied assaulting Daniel Snow in Rhydlewis on 25 January this year.
Whitehead was found guilty by magistrates and fined £300.
He was also made the subject of a 12-month restraining order and must pay £300 prosecution costs and a surcharge to fund victim services of £124.
