A Tremadog woman will stand trial later this year after appearing in court to deny an assault charge.

Annest Morgan, of 105, Bloc 6, Isgraig, appeared before Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on 1 September.

The 24-year-old pleaded not guilty to one charge of assault by beating in Tremadog on 15 June this year.

Morgan did plead guilty at the hearing to a separate charge of criminal damage by damaging a flat door in Tremadog on 17 June this year.

Morgan is due to stand trial on the assault charge at Caernarfon Magistrates' Court on 11 January next year, when she will also be sentenced for the criminal damage offence.

She was remanded on conditional bail by magistrates until that date.
