A section of the A470 is closed following a crash this morning.

North Wales Police said the crash took place between Trawsfynydd junction and Gellilydan, and they are appealing to drivers to avoid the area.

Issuing the appeal on Facebook, North Wales Police said: "Due to a RTC, the road is closed on the A470 between the Trawsfynydd junction and Gellilydan, Gwynedd.

"Please avoid the area, thank you."
