Plans to change offices in Aberystwyth town centre into flats have been refused after planners could not reach agreement on an affordable housing agreement.

The scheme to turn the first and second floor office space at 1 Owain Glyndwr Square into two flats was submitted by developers to the county council.

Refusing the scheme last week, planners said they “approached the applicant to provide the relevant information” for an affordable housing contribution but “no response has been received.”
