Porthmadog Town Council has chosen a new representative to sit on the governing board of Ysgol Eifion Wyn.

The clerk of the council noted at the town council’s last meeting that the Head of Ysgol Eifion Wyn had been in touch asking for a representative on their Governing Board following the resignation of Cllr Llywelyn Rhys as the representative of the town council.

Cllr Karena Owens agreed to represent the town council and the clerk will inform the school of Cllr Owens' contact details.
