THREE volunteers from Porthdinllaen RNLI have been recognised after totting up 80 years of service between them.

Second coxswain Robert Jones and crew member Geraint Humphreys, have both served for 30 years, and winchman Gwilym Jones has reached his 20-year milestone.

All three were given awards by former coxswain and deputy launching authority at Porthdinllaen, Capt Peter Jones. Robert and Geraint received a gold bar to their long service medal and Gwilym got a long-service medal.
