Aberdyfi Community Council has paid tribute to Pat Hubbard and Mair Lloyd who died recently.

Described as “two greats”, the council said Pat lived quietly and will be remembered fondly by everyone who knew her. She had a private funeral where a request for donations to the RNLI was made.

Mair, they said, was known to many, will be remembered as one of the great characters of Aberdyfi and greatly missed.

Donations to the British Legion and Alder Hey Hospital are requested.
