TWO Ysgol Ardudwy pupils have excelled at the Welsh Schools Cross Country Championships.

Year 7 pupil Anna Mitchelmore (right) finished 42nd out of a field of 82 runners in the 2,580m race held at Brecon on 28 February whilst Cai Thomas, of Year 9, was 22nd out of 82 in the 4,500m event.

Both competed in races held in Dolgellau and Bangor to qualify to represent Eryri in Brecon.
