PWLLHELI returned to winning ways in the Lock Stock Ardal North West with an emphatic 5-0 victory over bottom side Bethesda Athletic, inspired by another hat-trick from teenage striker Osian Thomas.

The 17-year-old continued his impressive start to life at the Rec, registering his second hat-trick for the club since joining from Caernarfon Town's development set-up at the start of the season.

Thomas has quickly established himself as one of the division's brightest young talents, taking his tally to six league goals, while also scoring five times in the Welsh Cup and once in the FAW Amateur Trophy.

He opened the scoring in the first half after good work from Ioan Williams before doubling his tally following another well-crafted move involving Cian Pritchard.

Thomas completed his hat-trick seven minutes into the second half to put the result beyond doubt. Fellow teenagers Sion Roberts and Charlie Griffiths also found the net.

Nefyn secured a valuable 2-0 win away to Llay Welfare.

Tomi Evans gave the visitors the lead midway through the first half before Rhys Williams sealed the points eight minutes after the restart following good work by Tomos Huw.

At the top of the table, Trearddur Bay climbed into first place after edging a seven-goal thriller at NFA, with Iolo Hughes netting a dramatic late winner.

Prestatyn remain level on points with the leaders but trail on goal difference after being held to a goalless draw at Kinmel Bay. There was also no breakthrough at Felinheli who shared the spoils in a 0-0 draw with Broughton United.

Llannefydd strengthened their position near the top with a 2-0 victory at Mynydd Isa thanks to goals from Llyr Morris and Elgan Roberts.

A brace each from Osian Jones and Math Jones powered Llangefni Town to a comfortable 4-0 win over Llanrwst United.

Elsewhere, Penmaenmawr Phoenix defeated Connah's Quay Town 4-1.
