KRIS Price clinched the Expert British Enduro Championship (BEC) at the weekend in the final round of the BEC, held at Hundred House organised by the Builth Wells MC, writes E A Bates.

With two solid second places aboard his Steven Plain Motorcycles-sponsored Beta machine, he closed out the championship in fine style.

Kris comes from a motorcycling family, with his father, Kenward, a top local scrambler in his day, uncle Elwyn excelling in enduros and scrambles, and grandfather Ken competing in trials and the International Six Days Trial, an event that Kris will compete in the 100th edition of, in Portugal in October.

This will be the third time Kris has competed at this International event and will be representing Wales having been selected for the Welsh ISDE Team.

The event is widely regarded as the oldest and most prestigious off-road motorcycle event in the world, often described as the Olympics of Motorcycling,
