Lampeter made a flying start to the new year with a 21-10 victory over visitors Mumbles in the Admiral National League 2 West on Saturday with tries by Harry Holden, Brynmor Jones and Dafydd Jones.

Osian Jones was successful with three conversions.

The Maroons are well placed in second position, nine points adrift of leaders St Clears but with a game in hand.
