A Llanarth woman has been handed a conditional discharge after admitting a charge of assaulting a police officer in Synod Inn.

Lyndsay Poulter, of 16 Heol y Bont, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 23 September.

The 35-year-old pleaded guilty to charge of assaulting Pc Jones during the execution of duties in Synod Inn on 8 September.

Poulter was handed a 12 month conditional discharge by magistrates and was also ordered to pay £25 in compensation.

She must also pay £85 costs and a £26 surcharge.
