A Llanybydder man has been handed a community order after admitting charges of assault and criminal damage.
Aled Thomos, of Brynmair, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court last week.
The 56-year-old pleaded guilty to the assault of a woman in Llanybydder on 6 May as well as an offence of cutting up the victim’s bank card.
He was handed a 24 month community order to include 100 hours of unpaid work and rehabilitation.
He must also pay £85 costs and a £114 surcharge.
