A Pontrhydfendigaid man has appeared in court charged with assault, intentional strangulation and criminal damage.

Jac Dark, of 19 Heol y Bannau, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on 18 June.

The 25-year-old is charged with the assault and intentional strangulation of Saathwik Kaartick Sahundala in Aberaeron on 16 June.

He is also charged with damaging an Audi on the same day.

Dark is next due to appear for a plea and trial preparation hearing at Swansea Crown Court on 19 July.
