A Tremadog man who appeared in court to plead guilty to drug driving, drug possession and theft will be sentenced later this month.

Bryan Evans, of 17 Maes y Mor, Craig Madog, appeared before Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on 29 September.

The 57-year-old pleaded guilty to drug driving on Glanrafon in Bangor on 24 July.

Tests showed he had benzoylecgonine – the major metabolite of cocaine – in his system exceeding the limit.

Evans also pleaded guilty to driving without insurance and possession of cannabis on the same day.

Evans also admitting stealing vape pods from the B& M store in Porthmadog on 24 July.

Magistrates adjourned the case for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.

Evans will be sentenced on 27 October.
