CRYMYCH returned to the summit of the Costcutter Ceredigion League Premier Division with a commanding 5-0 victory over Llanboidy on Saturday.
With St Dogmaels occupied in Dai Dynamo Davies Cup action, the Tegryn outfit seized the opportunity to move a point clear at the top of the table, although the Saints still have two games in hand.
Rhodri George continued his fine form by taking his league tally to nine goals with a brace. Dewi Baum and Gethin Evans also found the net, while the hosts were aided by a late own goal from Dion Morgan to complete the rout.
The only other Premier Division fixture saw Lampeter Town Reserves cruise to a 7-0 victory over bottom side Cardigan Town. Nathan Davies, Harry Saunders and Owen Rowcliffe gave the home side a 3-0 half-time lead.
Substitute Wisdom Ndava made an immediate impact after the break, scoring twice in quick succession before Davies grabbed his second of the afternoon shortly after the hour mark. Ndava then completed an impressive hat-trick from the bench to round off a comprehensive win.
Division One
Ffostrasol Reserves climbed to the top of the table thanks to Cian Edwards’ dramatic late winner in a hard-fought victory at Bargod Rangers.
The hosts made the brighter start and took an early lead through Antonio Price, but Adam Dirda levelled on the stroke of half-time to swing the momentum in Ffostrasol’s favour before Edwards struck decisively late on.
Former leaders Llechryd Reserves slipped from top spot after suffering a narrow 3-2 defeat at Dewi Stars in one of the games of the day.

Alun Williams opened the scoring with a free-kick for the visitors before Iwan Davies equalised just before the break, finishing from an Oscar Evans set-piece.
Rhodri Gwynne then blasted the Stars ahead with a stunning strike on the hour mark, only for Williams to restore parity with another free-kick.
The decisive moment arrived late on when returning goalkeeper Alex Biddulph launched a long ball over the Llechryd defence, allowing Rupert Geddes to race through and coolly lob the advancing goalkeeper.
Elsewhere, St Dogmaels Reserves recorded a convincing 4-0 victory at Aberaeron.
Emilio Morgan opened the scoring after being sent through by Kyle Noble, winning the challenge with the goalkeeper before finishing into an empty net. Despite creating several further chances, the Saints had to wait until the second half to extend their lead.
Goalkeeper Cody Boughey’s long clearance released Trystan Owens, who calmly doubled the advantage after the restart. Owens was involved again for the third as his effort was parried into the path of Oliver Mitchell, who reacted quickest to fire home from close range.
The visitors completed the scoring when Owens punished a defensive mistake, racing clear before coolly finishing to secure his second goal of the afternoon and cap a dominant performance from the Saints.
