ABERDOVEY Golf Club’s women's scratch team have made it through the first round of qualifying for the Welsh Team Championship.

Playing at Royal St David's, Harlech, against Porthmadog, the team of Isobel Kelly, Alex O'Brien, Janet Price, Mary Upson and Sally Wilkinson won 3 matches to 2.

They will take on Royal St David's in the next round of qualifying.
