DESPITE atrocious conditions, with torrential rain and strong winds, Abersoch Golf Club ladies battled their way around the course for Wooldridge Cup.

Jayne Smith claimed the trophy after going out in 46 and coming back in 56, including three pars along the way.

Jayne finished two shots ahead of Janet Davies to take the win.

A fantastic effort in incredibly tough conditions.
